Lobster Bar and Grill

Inside every reputable shopping mall in Hong Kong lies a classy and popular bar. At Pacific Place it's the Lobster Bar and Grill.

Reopened after redecoration and a revised menu for drinks and food keeps Lobster Bar and Grill popular with local shoppers and professionals working in around the banking region of Admiralty. Victorian wallpapering and blue hanging lights catch my attention as I walk in. Spoilt for choice when looking for a place to sit, either the large couches or upholstered red bar stools around the rounded bar. I'm always a fan of sitting at the bar where I can sit up high and admire the bar that I'm in and strike up a conversation with the bar people where he or she might give me a drink on the house.

Throughout the week except Sunday, a jazz band comes in and plays soothing live music after 8pm. Listen while you try out the cocktails or if you're here for dinner, they have a spacious restaurant with plenty to choose from on the menu, pasta, grills and seafood are at your fingertips. Highly recommended is of course the Lobster tartar on cucumber with lemon yogurt dressing and Lobster bisque for appetisers. For the main course, try the Saffron risotto with abalone Cavatappi with cherry stone clams and black bean sauce.
