BackstageHit the Backstage bar and restaurant on Wellington Street for a theatrical night out! This is one of those really original bars that is definitely worth a visit while you're visiting Hong Kong. The Backstage Bar is fully themed to its name with justice, experience the artistic and musical culture of the world in one night. Grab yourself an all time favourite chart topping named drink from the bar's menu such as Lady in Red, Blue Suede Shoes cocktails or the less pleasantly named but popular shots such as I'm Supposed to Die Tonight, before walking through the museum-like venue. A large commanding stage is there to add to the feel which is also fully operational during themed nights on Mondays and Thursdays, "Open Mic Night" and "Wine Soaked Jazz" nights respectively. A walk-in dressing themed room is also there at Backstage for you to hang around and strike up conversations. There, you can try on some costumes and put on some makeup for the ultimate experience of your illusionated night. Jazz is played on Thursdays by live bands and hip hop and indie on most other nights. Food is available at their restaurant side of the venue serving up western european cuisine. Listed Promotions
