Sparkz Wine and Snacks Bar

Owned by Albert Yam, a wine educator and wine writer in Hong Kong, you know you will be served nothing short of quality wine at Sparkz wine bar.

Located in Hong Kong's Noho area in Central which is north of Hollywood Road, Albert Yam has opened a laidback yet plush venue in the name of Sparkz. The name comes from a metaphor meaning a wine you haven't heard of but possesses great quality and with Sparkz that is just the case. Bringing a wealth of knowledge and experience with him, Albert introduces a large range of exceptional wines from across the globe, much of which I am sure you have never heard before even for the wine enthusiasts.

Some to recommend are Caballo Chileno Carmenere from Chile and Chateau Haut Bertinerie from France. The list of reds, whites, sparkling and fortifieds keeps changing through time to keep the crowd back for more. If you want more, come to the Wine Buffet held every Wednesday and Thursday between 7pm and 11pm for a wine tasting session where you can try out 6 different wines a week. How it works is HK$180 for unlimited pouring per person. Seems like a deal to me!
