Drop Club

Some might say it's the best clubbing venue in Hong Kong, I would say it they're probably right but they missed the word "small"

On Hollywood Road, there sits a fabulous nightclub designed for pure clubbing called Drop. Why is it called drop? Because the girls in there are drop dead gorgeous, because people dance till they drop or because people drop to the floor from excessive alcohol consumption? They're all true. For me it would be the latter though. Don't go in here thinking you won't be drinking all night long because I'm telling you, you're in for some serious partying time.

Drop has had a makeover recently where red, pink and light blue makes up the main colours. The bar is pretty big compared to the venue size but sometimes you'll find it hard making your way across the floods of people on the dancefloor. There is a VIP area but you really have to be of some status to get access since Drop is really a members club and if you're a non-member, you will have to dress provocatively (kidding), I mean real casual to get noticed at the door or if you know someone who is a member and can get you in.

People usually all know each other in Drop, or at least every other person, all dressed very fashionably and looks the part of a real clubber. On the decks is DJ Joel Lai who is the co-owner churning out pumped up funky house tunes.
