Yorkshire Pudding PubPopular British dining venue and now newly added drinks license, situated in Central's Soho nightlife district.I have to say that I am finding that British cuisine is increasing sought after in Hong Kong. So how do I dictate that? Well, there seems to be a growing number of British bar slash pubs appearing right, left and centre. The Yorkshire Pudding pub in Soho's Stauntan Street is in the midst of it all being one of the popular ones. From the outside, the Yorkshire pudding is hard to miss in red, reminiscent of a London bus or old style British phone box, sitting right next to Hong Kong's famous covered escalators. So if you're a tourist to the city, be sure to stop by for a relaxing drink. Once inside on the street level floor, it feels physically cooler because of it's colours in red, black and white, used on the leather, wood and walls, very relaxing! On the walls are framed pictures of renown British athletes and also a large picture which spells England across it. Take the stairs up to the 1st floor for a quieter and cosier drink with your mates in which you will pass a large clock on the way. The food is very British of which you should try is the Yorkshire pudding (of course), haddock fish and chips, roast beef, potatoes and bangers and mash. British style desserts are also available to finish you off. You might want to try toad in the hole or the toffee pudding. A whole range of British drinks are also available which will sure to tickle your fancy and get you talking about it and spreading the word in no time. Toned down British 80's music is played to fill in empty gaps in the air to make your experience at the Yorkshire Pudding every so English!
