Minden Place wine and oyster barIf you're into your oysters, then the Minden Place bar in Tsim Sha Tsui should be in your list of where to go in Hong Kong!Well hidden on Blenheim Avenue which is near Minden Avenue, the actual street that you should be looking or asking people for, is a place to fill up on a cold beer or great wine after a day out with friends. Their comfy sofas will keep you feeling at home and the what I can explain as Photoshop patterns on the walls will keep you thinking. A brightly lit bar sits right in the middle of the venue with black leathered stools where you can sit if you prefer to watch the barman at work. Fresh oysters are their speciality here at Minden Place along with a whole menu of seafood dishes such as their signature platter of Botan Prawn and Whelk or their baked tomatoes with escargot and cheese. Loads to choose from if you're a seafood fan, which I believe many of us are. I for one absolutely love it and in Hong Kong, we're in for a treat! To go with your oysters, they have a selection of wine to choose from or if you prefer, champagnes and cocktails are also available. Another great thing with this bar is that the kitchen stay open till 2am and venue shuts its doors at 4am, so if your feeling a little peckish after a night out, no more going to 7-11 for late night snacks because Minden Place is still serving.
