Tapas Bar - Kowloon Shangri-La HotelThe aptly named Tapas Bar of the Shangri-La Hotel in East Tsim Sha Tsui has the perfect blend of sophistication and fine Spanish Cuisine.Sitting plush in the lobby of this internationally reknown hotel of the world on Mody Road is the Spanish Tapas Bar that will indeed appeal to crowds who enjoy fine dining with spectacular views. While you're sitting in their expensive upholstery seating sipping at your wine that you finally made a decision choosing from the large range of New World wines on offer, look out of the grand windows that overlook Victoria Harbour and enjoy the slower pace of life, that's hard to come by in Hong Kong. There's also a large wine cellar which fills up an entire side of a wall within this venue. While your thirst and eyes are in for a treat, what about your ears and your grumbling stomach? The music being played here at Tapas is very instrumental and works very well with the sounds of the crowds enjoying themselves and glassware clinking. Food is served of course and no prizes for guessing what is on the menus. International tapas is served at large. Try the Spanish deli platter which contains cheeses, sausages, marinated veggies and breads. Perfect with your wine. Other specials are the pepper seared tuna, sizzling prawns, chicken croquette, aged ham tortillas and fresh sliced hams off the bone. All superbly delicious!
